With each passing day, the weight of the impending extinction event bore down on me like a leaden cloak. The countdown to our demise felt like a relentless drumbeat in the background, a constant reminder of our inevitable fate.

Humanity only had a few years left to repent, to mend the broken pieces of our existence before everything was torn asunder. But as I looked around me, I saw a world consumed by selfishness and greed. Love had grown cold, replaced by apathy and indifference. People walked the earth like ghosts, disconnected from one another, lost in their own self-serving pursuits.

I couldn’t help but wonder if this was the reason behind it all. Had we strayed so far from God’s path that He saw no other choice but to intervene in such a drastic manner? The thought sent shivers down my spine, a cold realization settling in my heart.

As I awaited the report detailing the exact timeline of the extinction event, I felt a sense of urgency unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Time was slipping through our fingers like sand, and there was no turning back the clock.

I tried to warn others, to shake them from their stupor of ignorance and denial. But so few listened, so few believed in the impending cataclysm that awaited us all. It was as if we had become numb to the impending doom that hung over our heads like a sword ready to fall.

Without God’s intervention, I feared that all would be lost on the day of extinction. The darkness that loomed on the horizon threatened to consume us all, leaving nothing but ashes and dust in its wake. And as I braced myself for the inevitable, a sense of profound sorrow washed over me, knowing that we had brought this upon ourselves.
